Failing Shingles and Poor Ventilation

We recently knocked out a quick garage roof replacement over in Moncton to take care of some severely degraded shingles. After stripping the old roof down to the last nail and removing the worn underlayment, we trimmed back a few overhanging tree branches before laying down fresh ice and water shield, new underlayment, and clean 3-inch white drip edges. We then installed durable IKO Cambridge architectural shingles in Dual Black, added a new continuous ridge vent to improve the attic ventilation, and finished up by securing the caps with gasket screws for solid wind protection.
